These delightful woven baskets are made by the Amagugu Cultural Center women. They are made from sisal that they have dyed with dyes from roots and bark found in the Matobo foothills.
These baskets are approximately 5 cm tall and 5 cm wide. They do vary slightly due to the handmade nature of basket weaving.
The Amagugu Cultural Center aims to save local cultural traditions and provide local people with a way to use their crafts to provide for themselves and their families.
Every item you purchase will come in the appropriately sized basket. The colour of the basket that we send with your item will depend on the colour available at the time.
