Infinity Ring
Infinity Ring
Did you know that the infinity symbol originated in 1655 when a mathematician decided to take the number 8 and turn it on its side to represent infinity? Most of the symbols that we hold sacred are much older.
It has come to represent never-ending love, two people coming together to form an infinite unity, regeneration and life after death, the interconnectedness of all things, and the promise God made to his people for everlasting life.
The beauty of this symbol for me is that it flows back into itself continually, which is why we decided to give our Infinity Ring a bit of a brushed texture on half of it to give it a bit of shimmer as if it were moving.
This hand-cut infinity symbol is 30 mm wide and is made of recycled silver.
