Sterling Silver Leaf Necklace, Mini

Our silver leaf necklace design is taken straight from Mother Nature! We have handcrafted this silver pendant from sterling silver, which is also known as 925 silver.

We first start by smelting the silver, rolling it out into a sheet, and then cutting the leaf shape out. This basic leaf template is then shaped using forging methods that haven't' changed for thousands of years. Once shaped into the leaf, we use a mini drill tool to texture the entire surface to mimic the fine little hairs you see on some leaves. After that, we hand-engrave the little lines to mimic the veins on the leaf.

The final stage is to forge the wire from which we make the long wire that forms the center stem of the leaf and the ring from which we can hang the leaf. A jump ring is also made that we will use to hang the pendant on the necklace.
