Our silver Ndoro Onyx Spiral Cuff Bangle takes its inspiration from the Ndoros used during the time of the Kingdom of Great Zimbabwe.
Great Zimbabwe was the most powerful trading empire in the region during that time, and Ndoros were not only their form of currency but also became the most coveted symbol for the wives of the affluent to wear. The more Ndoros you wore, the higher up in status you were considered in the kingdom, and the wealthier you were considered. We women haven't changed much since that ancient time—we still love our bling!
This bangle is a cuff bangle that can be adjusted slightly. It has a large, hand-engraved stylized Ndoro on one end.
