Elephant Hair Bangle Inspired Silver Cuff Earrings

Our Sterling Silver elephant hair bangle-inspired cuff earrings are designed with the same knots that you will find on the actual elephant hair bangles. These, of course, are not adjustable but purely for decoration.

We hand draw the wire that we use and form the knots in a tradition that is over 1,500 years old. There is something very grounding in using a method you know is as ancient as the form of jewelry itself.

While of course, the original pieces were made from real elephant hair, we chose not to use elephant hair as it would be very difficult to verify whether or not the hair was sourced from a poached animal. 

We hope our sterling silver cuff earrings will remind you of our relationship with the earth, our ancestors and the true majestic nature of the elephant, all done in the spirit of conservation.
